What should i do if my exe. files became an adobe icon

HELP!! All my exe. files cnt be opened!! They seem to be associated wif Adobe reader.. My desktop items also automatically became e Adobe icons. I came upon a window asking me what i should open exe. files with. It somehow was set to Adobe reader 9. They are all exe. files so theres no "open with"commands

I tried to go to Default settings but EXE. files arent on e list.. I tried to open my registry to customize my user settings but guess what.. Its an EXE. file... I desperately need help and is screwed o this point
