I have WMP 11.0
problem is when I try playing streams from internet (through IE,FF, or chrome) some work some don't - those that don't work, work on other PCs. i dont know what the problem - about a month everything used to work on this pc as well - but now some streams when I play, it goes to "Ready" right away, no attempt to connect or anything else.

Check to see if you have adobe flash updated. Sometimes you have to refresh or click the play button a few times to get the player to start buffering and playing.
