Vista 64bit SP1 on one SATA drive and XP Pro SP3 on 2nd SATA Drive, dual boot, F2 Bios set RAID. Blue Ray burner is recognized as a removable drive E: with a call for FORMAT (which does not work). Is there a MS HotFix or a possible solution to see Blue Ray Burner work again? The Burner works fine in XP Pro SP3 booted OS.

Thank you for your posting and given advice.
The XP SP3 shows the BlueRay burner as DVD/CD Matshita BD-MLT UJ-220S ATA driven by driver that includes CDRom.sys, GEARAspWDB.sys, imapi.sys, PxHelp20.sys, and redbook.sys. StorProp.dll is also revealed/created. All these are 32 bit and do not work in Vista 64.
The BlueRay Burner Optical DVD/CD has the following information:
The DVD Mutlirecorder; Compact Disk Rewritable; Ultra Speed Blue Ray Disk; made in Philipines in August 2008 with number JDGS0326ZA; Serial No. 8HCHA001574 BCT-A; ; Model No. UJ-220; HW=1.00 FW=1.00. The Matshita was aquired by Panasonic. The laptop tech support from Pro-Star Computers recomends reinstalling XP and then Vista 64. This would also mean reinstalling many programs and some of them may be required to be paid for again.
I am still searching where to obtain the firmware.
