Im currently running my E6600

at 8x400mhz = 3200mhz
v.core is set at 1.375 is that too high?

been going so far for 2 hours in prime without it bailing..

temps are 51C stable..

using a Scythe Ninja Plus..

but should i consider trying to lower v.core more?

at the standard v.core which i tried to bench it at 3.2ghz one core bailed after 3 min's prime.

my ram is 2x1gb Geil Ultra Plus Cas 4 PC-2 8500 (1066mhz) rated at 4-4-4-12 at 2.4 v

im currently running those at 800 mhz 1:1 4-4-4-12 at 2.0V

should i try and see if i can lower the volt ? they are certified to run at 2.4V when doing 1066 operation..

okay sorry i think i was confusing people a little..

my IDLE temp is 36 C at 3.2GHZ

Load is 41-42

and under max heat max power stress test in
prime it holds it ground at 51C constant

so you think i should try and lower my v.core to hit a more decent temp or should i just leave it alone ??

any suggestions on how to run the ram would be great.. since im not using theirr full potential (what ram timings would be great at 800mhz) or should i try and leave 1:1 ratio and bump em up to 1066 mhz and 4-4-4-12 timings?

i just tried a few v.core from stock and up..

im at 1.3475 now and it seems to run without halting in prime95 but i gotta test for atleast 6-10 h more to be sure =)

temp kinda remains the same also 51c on full load although my ambient might be a bit higher today.

no suggestions on ram anyone? what timings should i be able to push those ram at 800 mhz? 3-3-3-9?

another weird thing why does Cpu-Z only report voltage to be 1.280 ?

from johnny_ftm in the oc sticky:
CPU-Z is the worst app to display vcore. Above some 1.48-1.5 vcore, sometimes below, it will display a 1.21 vcore

the numbers aren't exactly what you have mentioned but this is probably what you are experiencing.
