is it worth the change. I bought a xp profrom a seller who sold me a cd for a dellcomputer and i could not fully install the cd. The cd clearly stated that it is for dellcomputer only so I returned it and after a lot of difficulty I managed to re-install my samson xp.

The seller was angry and said that he sold almost 3000 of those disc and no one except me complained.

Is it possible to install a dell dell xp pro on a non dell computer?

Most Dell Windows XP CDs check for a Dell BIOS before they'll install.
