I am looking at a Motherboard shift from an Asus P5N32-SLI Premium 590i motherboard to an EVGA NForce 680i.

If I keep everything else constant in the config...will the NVidia-based RAID controller on the EVGA motherboard recognize my RAID5 configuration coming over from the Asus mobo? I assume I would have to match up SATA ports so I connect the right drives into the right place...but if there is any way to avoid having to backup and then rebuild by 1.36tb (3x750gb) array...I would be happy.

Any thoughts or ideas on this are appreciated. I did search and didn't see any similar upgrade questions...

Thanks!
