It's almost laughable all of the sites I've been to that say a computer cannot be made to boot up automatically, e.g. in the morning. It has to have a running clock in it or the clock on the NT wouldn't come on correctly each time the computer boots. all devices like this have clocks in them. This is how electronics operate, amplitude versus time.
look how tiny a digital wrist watch is and it has a clock in it. A crystal somewhere that it uses to run the digital electronics.
