tring to burna film to dvd cd -r but it wont reconice the disk bort some more disk and same thing happens

dvd cd-r?? Are the discs CDs or DVDs? Is the drive a DVD or CD drive?

dvd disks and on the computer it reconices the drive as dvd/cd-rw drive (e:)

Look on the front of the drive. Most will say DVD ROM or CDRW or something like that. PCs don't always recognize the drive correctly. If your drive isn't identified on the front, you can pull it out and look at the label on it.
