Right i need views from people that would have know alot more than myself for gaming and the technical side.

Current Computer Spec:

Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe
AMD Dual Core 939 3800+
OCZ DDR400
Dual nVidia 7600GT (Running SLi)
Hiper 580w
Thermaltake Swing Case
250GB Western Digital SATA

Anyhow no budget or anything but im wondering if theres any point in me getting a upgrade just now. If i was to go for a Upgrade i would be waiting till the Price slash on the processors.

Upgrade Spec:

EVGA nForce 680i SLi
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (Once Price Slash is done.)
Corsiar Dominator DDR2 800
Corsair HX 620W (Not sure cause PSU is at bottom and Fan need to be pointing up, or can i just flip the PSU upside down?)
EVGA 8800GTX (Original Version)
Antec Nine Hundred

Please let me know what you think.
Another thing, if was was to get a seocnd GTX will the PSU handle both of them?

I think that your desired system would do just fine with one gtx. maybe you'd need another one in a year or two but that system will definately last you a few years with just one. with a processor and graphics card like those you'll definately want quite a bit of power, especially if you plan on going sli in the future. i'd say that 700w is a safe bet.

OCZ do pretty good power supplies. But then main thing to check is the amp output on the combined +12V rails. The 50A you get from the Corsair HX 620W is pretty damn good and should be find for your current system. I wouldn't bother with SLi - just get a single 8900GTX when they come out and sell on the 8800GTX.

That COrsair PSU can take what ever you throw at it but then again to be on the safe side it may not be enough for 2 GTX's.

Consider buying an Antec P190 case which comes with 2 PSU's with a total of 1200W of power. The case does cost $450, but if you subtract the PSU's it is a decent deal. it also supports the EATX mobos as well. (12" by 13"). So your gonna be good to go for a while when it comes to space and power.

Especially since the case comes with 5 fans. (2x 120mm, 2x 140mm, and 1 200mm)

Here's the link for it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129028

To: DarksideDragon: Right ok so get the 8900GTX when it comes out instead of the 8800GTX?

To: Kabobi: Your right the P190 Cause pritty good price considering your getting 2x 600w PSUs with it, only problem are those PSU's Efficent as i dont want me to run my mum up with a Huge ass Power bill :p

I'd imagine they're fairly efficient, as Antec do good PSU's as well as good cases. However, if you go with my advice of sticking to one GPU, then the Corsair will prove to be more than adequate.

That case is the best one around, everyone seems to be getting it lol.

Personally.. id recommend getting another motherboard, SLI is costly it ain't great and you sure don't get a good performance for cash ratio.

Its probably worth spending the money on a better MB generally.
