I have a CanoScan LIDE 90 on Windows XP.
I have downloaded the driver and yet it keeps stating the driver is missing. I then tried the wizard but Canon isn't in the list of selection. What do i do next?ave downloaded the driver and yet it keeps stating the driver is missing. I then tried the wizard but Canon isn't in the list of selection. What do i do next?
Plug in the scanner and turn it on. The PC will recognize the new hardware. It will ask you to install the drivers, point it to the drivers you downloaded.
Thank you for your feedback. I have downloaded the correct driver but when i open MPNavigatore EX 1.0 it stills says driver not installed.. I have unplugged and replugged the Cannon LIDE 90 scanner and it still doesn't recognize the driver. I suspect something is preventing it from connectting. Any other suggestions.
Go to the device manager, look for your USB scanner. Right click on the scanner (probably has a yellow ! on it), and update the driver. You can do the advanced method and browse to the drivers you downloaded. Browse to the drivers, click them, and click ok.
thank you! that' s the problem...it isn't anywhere in Device manager and i don't know enough to program it in.. i alos suspect it may have to do with the new USB from D-Link i installed.
Is there anything in there with a yellow ! next to it?
In the universal serial bus section, right click and uninstall all the usb root hubs. Then restart the PC. They will reinstall on restart, and check for new hardware. You want to make sure the scanner is on.
