How do I format the partition C of a hard drive which has been patritioned into

Last response: in Windows XP

My hard drive has a total disk space of 80GB.
I have partitioned it into C of 24.4 GB has only 3.96 GB free, D which is 29.4 GB and has 21.6 FB free, and E which is 20.6 GB and has 19.6GB free

I would like to format the partition C and keep the other partitions as they are.

Your advice will be helpful.

Thanks

Mac.

If your Op sytem isnt on c: you can do it this way.

1. open a command prompt and type format c: <enter>

If it is on c:
2. you can boot with the cd as stated above and boot to a command prompt and type format c: <enter> as well.
