Guesstimate cost of x38 + DDR3 + penryn cpu + g90 ?

I WAS going to build my gaming rig come July 22nd, but now am going to wait til the end of this year for all this tech to come out.

I'm assuming the g90's will be as expensive as the g80's are now, and have read how the x38 will be as expensive as when the 975 came out, but the x38 wil be realesed Aug/Sept so maybe a slight price break or some offers come xmas will help.

So could anyone give me an idea of what each component will cost come end of this year?

- x38 motherboard
- DDR3
- quad penryn CPU
- g90

I would say the G90s will be more expensive than the G80's until ATI get its act together, Nvidia are under no pressure to reduce prices

DDR3 should also remain mega expensive until probably summer next year, by the time you get that build together information on the next generation of everything will have been released and will probably be at retail 6 months later. Ive given up on waiting for things

x38 will probably be around $250 at it's release
2GB of DDR3 is currently $435 on Newegg
Penryn $999
G90 $600+

I kind of thought things would clearly run over the $1000 mark.

Since that setup is out of the question (for me) what would this build be the next best thing:

- Q6600 or E6850
- P35 motherboard
- 4 gigs DDR2 800 (or 1066 based on motherboard)
- 8800 GTS 640k (or GTX is price is more reasonable come next month)
- WD Raptor 74gig (or 150)
- Vista 64bit
