Mostly looks good, I assume the RAM price is for a total of 4 Gigs as in 2 RAM kits, each containing two 1GB sticks. Otherwise that price is insane.

The only thing I would do is to ditch the 8600GTS. If you want any gaming performance, you'll be better off with an 8800GTS for not that much more money. If you are already at your budget limit, I'd get the E6600 instead of the E6700 to cover the difference, or wait for the E6850. Trust me, the 8800GTS is much faster compared to the 8600GTS than the E6700 is compared to the E6600. And you can overclock the CPU anyway...

You can get three 320GB Seagates for less than the two 400GBs too if you're interested, 320 is the sweet spot for $/GB right now.

Thanks for all the comments

I am waiting till July 22 and will get a Q6600

Yes that is 4GB of ram for Vista Ultimate x64, the price does not include the $60.00 rebate.

Good Idea on the HD as I will buy 3- 320 Seagates, and use two for Raid 0 and the other one for storage.

I know of the 8800GTS but only want a midrange graphics card with DX10 capability. I want Nvidia so the 8600GTS appears to me to be the best choice.

The computer will not be used primarily for gaming and will run at stock settings.
