New mortherboard and processor unstable and rebooting

I've installed a new Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard and AMD Phenom quad core 9850 processor. I have a DVD, CDROM and one Hard Drive all IDE plus another SATA Hard Drive. All the drives worked fine with my previous system.

The Gigabyte motherboard only has one IDE connector to which I've connected one Hard Drive, the other Hard Drive is connected to a SATA connection. The CDROM and DVD drives are connected via a SATA IDE PCI adapter and are showing as parallel master and slave.

When I logon I get to my desktop but after a couple of minutes the system reboots back to the logon page. This happens 9 out of 10 times, the other time everything is fine apart from the mouse is a bit tempremental. I've checked temperatures and loads but everything is working normal and I've re-registered XP online.

Any advice welcome as I'm baffled as to what the problem is.
