I finally managed to gather up enough courage to OC my system.

e6400
zalman 9700 LED cooler
asus p5n-e sli
2 gigs of PNY RAM (5-5-5-18 @ 400mhz)
1 gig of Samsung ram (5-5-5-18 @ 400mhz)
antec 900

I really dont know anything about ocing. But my system is running at 3.0 gigs right now at 1.32v. I set the multiplier to x8 and fsb 375. My ram keeps on crashing while using windows. (It is stable for about 3~4 hours) So I raised the voltage to 2.25. Is this safe?? What can I do to prevent further crashing of my ram?? my ram is on 5-5-5-18 right now. Help please. My ram is a really cheap ghetto ram. Perhaps adding those cooling stuff like fans and copper... would that help?

Are you using DDR ram only? Probablu you'll want to upgrade to DDR2-PC6400 (something from corsair, G.Skill or ocz probably).... DDR 1 use higher volt compared to DDR2
