I have a problem with my wirelss connection speed not reverting to 54 Mbps as I had it before I went on a trip and used a hotel's wireless router. I used to be able to get 54 Mbps on my Dell but it seems that since I returned it only gives me 11 Mbps...

I called Linksys help desk thinking its my router but they tell me it is a Dell setting. Before I call Dell I wanted to post this question here and see if someone can give me a quick fix before I spend an hour on the phone. Thanks in advance.

Try uninstalling the wifi driver, restart pc, install the driver. Also, check your router that it is using a fixed mode instead of mixed (b & g). i.e. 802.11g would be preferred.
