Hi, all! Never seen this before. Box is XP/Pro, SP2, latest patches and such. Logged in as Administrator.

Went into System applet in Control Panel, then Computer Name tab to join a machine to the domain, and both Workgroup and Domain options in the "Member of" frameset are greyed out! The Network ID button is also greyed out...

Never seen this before!! Suggestions?

You need to have 'Client for Microsoft Networks' Client installed for you network adaptor to change the name/domain
