waiting on final approval here (as well as some other places) before i click buy.

will be using to oc my c2d 6300 (not a crazy amount, but whatever i can manage) until i purchase a quad 6600 on july 22nd. parts i already have are : visa ultimate x64, 250gb 7200 rpm sata hdd, viewsonic 19 inch ws @ 1440x900.

I'd consider a higher end one if you're planning on quad and overclocking it.

if you are going to OC your quad, id recommend a better cpu cooler...try the thermaltake vx or a scythe model...everything else looks good

Pass on the Scythes......poor mounting mechanisms and are easily beat by other heatsinks on the market (and ones with better mountings too). Thermalright 120 Ultra or Extreme, Tuniq Tower, Noctua NH-U12F are excellent choices.
