Don't plan to overclock, but if I do...

My first homebuilt gaming rig will consist of:

- E6600
- Gigabyte P965-DS3
- 8800 GTS 640
- 4 gig ram
- wd raptor 150
- vista 64bit

I won't run SLI and don't plan to OC out of the gate, but I may end up doing it so I'd appreciate if anyone could recommend a heatsink fan cooling system if I want to overclock the E6600 to 3ghz? I am new to all this.

Thanks in advance!

I probably will buy a Thermaltake Armor case, but if not maybe the Antec 900 or P180b.

Thermalright 120 Ultra or Extreme and the Noctua NH-U12F are highly recommended. Great cooling, quiet, good mounting systems, can be rotated to exhaust out the rear or the top, and moderately priced. Both very good, you'd be happy with either I'm willing to bet.

Ya should decide whether you are going to over clock or not since some processors are better some ram types are required.

Buying parts for overclocking/non overclocking could save/cost you money depending on what you are doing.
