iam thinking of networking my two PC's, one is an AMD 1800+ and the other (wait for it) is a pentium 133mhz...and i was womdering if that will degrade the network perforance assuming that it actually works, and so is there a minimum computer specification for a crossover network? thanks!

So long as you have a card in the machine that will support TCP/IP you can network them. Granted you could use another topology but I'd stick with TCP if I were you. The machine will not be a huge performer no matter what you do but it surely can be networked.
