Choosing a VGA! Need a quick help!

This is it! I have no more options at all, so i need to choose ONLY between two cards:

1)VGA ATI RADEON 9500PRO AGP 8x 128Mb 128Bits 8 Pipelines
w / cooler Iceberg 4 (used)


2)VGA NVIDIA GeForce 6600LE AGP8x 128MB 128bits 4pipelines
(new)

The 9500pro has 8 pipelines, but the 6600le supports SM3.0
i can try to unlock pipelines in 6600le, but theres a big chance to dont work..

my system is :

k8v-x SE, a64 3000+@2.500mhz, 1024 ram ddr 400Mhz

Please guys help me choosing between these two cards!!
(im limited to pick one of those only -\)

If it were a better GF6600 it'd be an easier choice, but that one is so crippled I'll stick to my usual statement, avoid LEs and SEs.

Despite it's age the R9500Pro will be better in most situations, the problem will be the games that require SM3.0 as the minimum requirement.

yeah, it is a hard road, the 9500pro is a good solid card, but lack somethings of the 6600le. however the 6600le sucks, although if you were successful in unlocking it, it would be much better. personally i'd go for the 9500pro and mod it to a 9700pro, according to cleeves avatar.

I always thought LE standed for LIMITED EDITION...atleast when i bought my FX5700LE


Anyhow ya the 6600LE is better, get Riva tuner, found some topics about unlocked 6600LE maybe even volt mod the baby and hit 6600GT clock speeds.


Or you can go with the 9500Pro WAY OLDER but will be decent.

Its the very best choice, about that tree cards, right?
