good day my computer hard drive was replaced and the person tried to restore the computer back to the original status from new and it crashed. i got everything working except my printer and i tried downloading drivers 5x. i am running windows xp. i don't have the recovery disk. can you tell me what else i can do please? i am desperate.

this is a Compaq presario 8000 series

it is a Compaq computer and a hp photoshot 7150 laser jet printer

BEFORE your execute the installation of the driver follow this steps:

 

Right in my PC, properties, hardware tab, sig in drivers, and select the firts option (Install software without approval)

 

Try this and tell me which was the result.

I tried this and the wizard came up and said can't download driver in so many words. I tried 2x

I understand that you can't download the driver. Right?, so, I download the driver for you, send me a message with a e-mail to send yo the driver, or add me to the MSN for send you this for the MSN.
