Add a new drive to a RAID 1 array?

Hi. I just bought a new HD which I'd like to use with my current HD (which is by itself) in a RAID 1 (mirrored) setup. How can I do this? I don't want to lose any data.

Plug in your new hard drive into the same controller (i.e, IDE/Sata controller 1) then boot your system. You should see something like: "press f8 to enter raid configuration utility" and do that.

Once inside, you should see your current raid set listed. Depending on the controller, you should have the option to modify the raid, do this and one option should be to add drive.
