I received this error message below on my Dell Dimension 8400 on the Blue Screen of Death

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If, this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen restart your computer. If, this screen appears again, follow these steps.

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers, check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated

RUN CHKDSK/ F to check for hard drive corruption, and the restart yoru computer.

STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF8969524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).

First off I haven't added any new hard drives or hard drive controllers. Also, the prior message stated that my OS could not be detected. I have my Windows XP Professional CD SP 2.

If any could please provide me with a clue of what is it I need to perform. Your answers are much appreciated.
