building a new pc

hello everyone,

i need help on building my new pc, i already got:

E6700
2x 1gb Kingston HyperX
Asus 8800GTX (going for SLI 2 8800GTX later)
2x 500gb sata drives
thermaltake PSU 850W SLI ready
2x dvd writers

now i dont know which motherboard is best for me, i want an Nforce board, i thought about asus striker extreme or gigabyte GA-N680SLI-DQ6, i like the gigabyte more for the extra lan and the 4 esata but the thing is here where i live we got only rev1 from that board which i heard that it has problems, now i thought about the striker extreme more, but would like more thoughts from u guys, im not into overclocking and just want the system to be stable @ stock speed and play HQ games, also streaming and transcoding vids on the fly to my ps3, hope the E6700 would be enough for transcoding on the fly, thanks

but what about the GA-N680SLI-DQ6 rev1 and its latest bios update?

did they fix the problems?

will it run stable after that bios update on stock speed?

im really intrested in that motherboard but worried that even after that bios update it would give me problems.
