And yes, you guessed it....with a problem posed to me by my boss!
So heres the skinny...I walked into work today, and he threw a laptop at me that for some reason, just would NOT
connect to the internet...So, I figured I'd try numerous things out...repairing connections, trying different connections, system restoring to a previous point from which maybe the laptops user could have installed something that affected the connection...and nothing...every time I connect the computer, it hits me with "Limited or no connectivity"
so maybe you guys can figure this one out...the laptop is a "VPR Matrix" model # 220A5-1
Wired or wireless? I'd be checking any firewall programs installed on there, and also be checking if there are any security measures on your network, that could be locking you out of the network. Do they maybe have MAC address filtering enabled? Because on my home network, I had that on there, then my mobo with built in NIC card died, got a new board, got it in, and started up, to find out I was locked out of my own network, lol. So had to use my wife's laptop to get in and disable the setting. Hacking into my own network, how funny huh? Anyway, that's where I would start, if nothing else works, maybe do a fresh windows install and wipe everything out.
