I need skinpack.pk3 for Quake 3...

Hey guys...

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get the file called
"skinpack.pk3" for Quake 3. I connected to this server serving the MOD
"Beryllium" and the map being served was "BONK" but it got to the automatic
download screen and it was going to download "skinpack.pk3" but it just quit
so I'm trying to find this file on the 'Net but to no avail. Can anyone
help?

With a generic name like "skinpack.pk3" it's a safe bet that it's a custom skin pack for a clan
or maybe one put together by the server's admin. In any case, your best bet is to track down
some regulars on the server or the admin.

You might also try turning the allow download cvar off ("/cl_AllowDownload
0" in the console) once you've downloaded the custom map. As long as the
server isn't pure, you should be able to connect as long as you have the map
that's currently running. Any player model skins you don't have will just
show up as sarge IIRC
