My lappy is getting overheated after sometime of reboot why?

Does the fan spin? Slowly? At all? ijack's suggestion is a good one, but cleaning the dust out might not get the fan working again. If the fan doesn't spin even after cleaning, it will need to be replaced... you could try one of those after market cooling pads, but there is no guarantee that will work.

also make sure your not putting your computer on a bed, or pillow, ect.
a hard surface will help airflow out the bottom of the laptop.
Using a can of compressed air is usually enough to restore some airflow through the pc.
the heatsinks and fans can get clogged w/ dust.
if its really bad, you may need to disassemble and to clean out dust (only do this if the warranty has expired, cause it will usually void it)
