hi guys i got heat problem with 8800gts 320mb i need your help sometimes the game got stuck so i had to restart


is there any program that shows me the VGA temp i downloaded speedfan but i can't locate the VGA only cpu and system temp

NTune can be found at www.nvidia.com. Will show temps and allows OCing and fan control as well.

k i downloaded ntune and my temp " without gaming " is 65c is that normal ?

is that k to force it ? i mean the fan should increase automaticaly right ?

P.S.: my card is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130082 EVGA 8800gts 320mb "NOT OCed" and there's a black cover over the heatsink " for the look only i think " if i take it off does that help decrease the temp and is't k to take it off at all ?

yep its fine to force it i have never seen my fan speed go over 60% without me making it

75c isnt that hot at load for a gfx card, or a 8800GTS. Youre fine

Having had the chance to play with an Asus 8800GTS 320 I reckon your card is very normal mate :lol: , after OC'ing my mates one was quite stable @+90c looping 3d '06 for about five hours!

the fan was on 60% now it's 75% according to what u said 75c is normal ? does that mean i should make everything back to normal ?

If its running at 75c thats normal, and ok for the card
