I have about 20gb of music I have ripped over the last 16 years in one huge folder.

What I am looking to do is update it's tags and sort it into folders by genre\artist\album. I would love if I could get a program to do this automatically for me.

I started trying to use Media Monkey but when I asked it to update by the web it started changing all my music to be by the same artist and from the same album... I caught it after it did about 100 tracks...

Is Media Monkey the program I want? How do I make it do what I am looking for? Is there something better?

I use Magic MP3 Tagger. It works pretty quick, and it does offer a free trial but you're only limited to 5 tracks and I believe there's a 10 second delay before it retags and renames. It's well worth the money for the full version, but I've found the programs only weak point is some various artist CD's. Other than that it's worked great for me.
