I installed scanner driver. Now the error "ntldr is missing" appears, the OS is Windows XP Professional SP2. Anybody knows how to fix this issue without losing any data?

Check you have removed the instalation CD from your drive.

There is currently no Installation disc in the drive

Boot from the XP cd, enter to DOS and write this:

 

chkdsk /fix mbr

 

Reboot the PC.
