Re-booted my machine and it says "Unable to log you on because the netlogon service is not running on this machine."

What do I nee to do to log in?

A: you have posted two topics, delete one.
B: If you are on a computer at work then the file may have been corrupt, if you are using a home PC then maybe you need to reinstall windows to fix the problem.

Boot from the XP CD and select repair OS.
