how do i copy resume from my documents to employers web page for application?when i double click,box opens but "paste" is not dark and won't copy.what am i doing wrong?

What are the requirements on the web page for supplying the resume? fill in on line or attachment? If you can fill it in online in freeform, then you should be able to paste the text by selecting all text in your document press and hold down the Ctrl key and tap C, place curser in the fill in box and press and hold down the Ctrl key and tap V.
If the application is a fill in Form with predefined layout, then you will need to fill it in online.
