I downclocked my CPU to 2.8 in order to match my memory FSB which is 350. Thats the maximum speed that my ghetto ram will handle. Otherwise that POST thingy pops up. So now my ratio is a nice 1:1. Before I had it on 15:16 ratio. Where the CPU FSB was faster than my memory fsb. So the CPU was 3.0gig. Now what is your opinion on this? Should just run my PC at a 1:1 ratio or overclock my CPU fsb?

to clear things up.

system
core2duo 6400 2.16 @ 2.8 1.32v
ddr2 2gig PNY 6400 (5-5-5-18 @ 400mhz) <--yes i know.. i am an idiot for getting such cheap rams... I didn't know i would ever oc!!! (1.8 @ 2.259v)
ddr2 1gig Samsung 6400 (5-5-5-18 @ 400mhz)

1. 2.8gig CPU FSB 350 multiplier 8
memory 350 mhz
1:1 ratio

2. 3.0gig CPU FSB 375 Multiplier 8
memory 360mhz <---this is the max.. and some times it crashes on this etting..
24:25 ratio

1 or 2? Which will yield a better performance and stability?
