I have not any knowledge on the actual models, but Canon make an excellent printer right now.

From what I've read, and contrary to Dell's protestations, stay away from Lexmark. If your pockets are deep, theHP does a decent job. A number of reviews have really praised Canon's newest Bubblejets, especially the S-520 and S750.
