Microsoft Word missing CONFIG NT

I must have deleted this file from Word 97 and I am not a great whiz on computers. Is there a way to correct my problem
I have tried to re-install and the DVD/CD will not go.

Please help.

config.nt is an operating system file.
Its location is c:\windows\system32

You can create the file using Notepad.
Type this into the file. Be exact in your typing.

dos=high, umb
device=%SystemRoot%\system32\himem.sys
files=40

I greatly appreciate your response. My problem is that I am using a VISTA system and using the Microsoft 95 programs. I cannot figure out how to achieve access to the program files.
