I am having problem in playing movie from my PC in Power DVD .picture freezes after every 2-3 frames but sound runs smooth.I am playing from COPY saved on my PC not directly from DVD.

It sounds like it didnt copy correctly.
Try to turn down the speed that it is being burned at and reburn it and see if that helps.

Try playing it in VLC to see if you still have the problem.

I would have to agree. Try to play this movie in another program (VLC is very good). If that fails burn at a slower speed.
