That is an option. I wouldn't recommend McAfee if you're going to pay for an antivirus suite. There are better options, such as Trend Micro, Vipre, Kaspersky, or Panda.

However, there are some real good free antivirus software, that will provide good security. Check out Microsoft Security Essentials, Avast, or Avira.
