Onboard mobo audio issues

Just a quick question, having these popping and crackling noise with my AD188B onboard audio. This is the normal for onboard sound for motherboards right? As such, when ever the audio shutters so does the game I'm playing. Trying to make sure my mobo / video card is good.

A64 X2 4600
2GB DDR2-800 @ 4-4-4-12 2T
8600 GT @ 612 / 1385/ 1830

Disable the onboard audio in the BIOS, then play your games. If you do not experience any problems, then it's possible that it is the onboard audio that is the culprit. Play again with the audio enabled, if you experience problems again then buy a new sound card.
