what are three files need to boot windows xp out of this list:

lo.sys
ntldr
autoexec.bat
command.com
msdos.sys
win.ini
ntdetect
ntoskrnl
gdi.exe

i know that ntldr and ntdetect are needed.. (well thats what i was told)

any help would be great, i tried google btw and got nothing

You need boot.ini (not in your list), ntdetect.com and ntldr.
