Hello,

I have 3240 MB of RAM that I have allocated 2048 MB of to Win Xp via a /MAXMEM line in the boot.ini. I then, through a Win Xp program, allow 1024 MB of DMA memory to be used by a frame grabber card. When the program goes to initialize the frame grabber card an entire system crash/reboot takes place. I can get the card to work with /MAXMEM set to 1024 MB but want the extra 1024 MB of memory for Win Xp use. Any help would be appreciated.

Working setup:
/MAXMEM to 1024

Nonworking Setup:
/MAXMEM to 2048
