It'll be a year at least, and possibly longer, before DDR3 is competitive on the price/performance scale with DDR2. I guess it just depends on how long you want to hold onto your computer. I personally would just get the P35-DS3R since the DDR3 on the C is only rated up to 1333 anyway. You can get quality DDR2 to those speeds at less than half the cost. I don't think it's worth the extra 30 bucks or so that this board costs.
