If u were buying either one of them which one would you choose?I been looking at DDR3 performance test there isnt much of boost from DDR2 speed only marginal differences.

Go with the GA-P35C-DS3R. its only a little bit more and will allow for easy upgrading in the future both cpu and memory wise. Right now ddr3 is slow because it just came out and they are still playing with the speeds. Give it a year and ddr3 will be the better memory for sure. (speed wise)

It'll be a year at least, and possibly longer, before DDR3 is competitive on the price/performance scale with DDR2. I guess it just depends on how long you want to hold onto your computer. I personally would just get the P35-DS3R since the DDR3 on the C is only rated up to 1333 anyway. You can get quality DDR2 to those speeds at less than half the cost. I don't think it's worth the extra 30 bucks or so that this board costs.

Go with the P35-DS3R because by the time good DDR3 comes out at reasonable prices you'll be wanting a new motherboard and cpu. DDR2 is going to be cheap for a long time, don't bother spending the extra money on the P35C
