Windows vista flickering icons

flickering icons in windows vista on my emachines pos laptop...!

almost looks as if the tab key is stuck and tabbing through whatever is the active screen. whether it be a webpage or updating at windows update..or even just a text doc thats open...

u press any button andit stops..but then comes back whenever it feels like it. no rhyme or reason...


any ideas???
