Hardware for rendering fractals

I used many fractal programs, but the best are by far Apophysis and UltraFractal 5.

does anyone know what kind of hardware you need to get the best results from these 2? which one knows to use more than 2 cores, or if any of them knows to use GPUs, etc

also advice for other hardware parts is greatly apreciated
