hi all
I am planning a new budget system (with ability to upgrade aater)and I like everything about the MSI P6N SLI-FI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard (here) but on one of the item images i saw an arrow pointing to the cpu power connector that said "Eight pin CPU power connector" I would like to be able to reuse my 470 watt psu in this build, but will it work?

Usually you can connect the 4 pin power connector too. A lot of boards do have a 8 pin connector with a tape over 4 of the pins. While i´m pretty certain that you can go with the 4 pin i would go to the abit website and download the manual. It´s in there. Always.
