More Information

I have a newer motherboard but was wondering about having eSATA ports on my computer for fast backups. Right now I do have EIDE to USB adaptors, but using eSATA would be far faster. The problem is in the old PCI days, if you had more than the 2 EIDE ports, a drive controller in your expansion slot would complain. How do eSATA controllers act if you have more then 2 EIDE connectors on the motherboard? (I have 2 EIDE and 4 SATA on an NForce4).
