Today my usb doesn't show up on my laptop

Hi, so this afternoon when I plugged my flash stick in my laptop, the computer said it didn't recognize it. Yet it's been working just fine earlier today. My computer runs on Vista and yes, the 3 flash sticks that I tried work just fine on any other computers I have. And I did not install or un-install anything in the past 2 month.
