I can in all honesty recommend the X2 5600+ from AMD.With a speed of 2.8ghz/core and a combined 2mb of L2 cache, and a thermal limit of 89watts,it really does offer a lot of bang for the buck.I've been running mine for a couple weeks now and am quite impressed with its performance. At idle the temps are around 34-36 degrees celsius.when gaming they only hit around 42.And yes I've disabled coolnquiet in the bios.In fact I never installed the driver for it either.Anyways, just my small bit of input for you.Hope it helps you.Goodluck.
