I am trying to install XP 64 bit OS on my PC (AMD Athlon 64 X2) but after the DOS setup process (blue screen which copies OS files on to the HardDisk) the system got restarted as it used to when I install any OS and It was showing me the message as Missing Operating System. If I use 32 Bit XP then it is installing fine but when it comes to 64 bit XP its not getting installed, Is there any addition change I need to make to the BIOS and how can i find whether my PC supports 64 bit OS or not.

It would be great if anyone can provide solution for my above mentioned problem.

FYI last month when I had vista 32 bit on my PC I had checked with in the control panel setting to find whether my PC supports 64 bit OS and its mentioned as YES.

From,
Sunil
