and after loading during the install process, two different versions of Windows (XP Media Center and XP Pro) would not "see" any hard drive to install too....any ideas on how I can successfully wipe my drive and start from scratch?
The HD must be formatted. Use method 1. In BIOS set the first boot device to DVD, place the Windows XP install CD in the tray and save and exit. When prompted to press any key to boot from CD, press any key at that time. Format the HD and install the OS. Be sure to save any important data first.
